The 30 ton crane at the Newport International Terminal will be out of service on Wednesday the 24th of July for annual maintenance. Although the estimated time of return to service will be the morning of the 25th of July, there is always the possibility that maintenance tasks may take more time than anticipated. The Port of Newport will do our very best to return the crane to operational status as quickly as possible; those who may need services from the crane on the 24th are advised to either move their work ahead or delay scheduling work until after the 24th. We regret any inconvenience this may cause our customers.
